Route Notes BC at normal site High point at NE Ridge. For 10 days Spaniard's liaison officer wouldn't permit Sherpa Ang Tshering to climb with her and she did not want to climb alone, so went to do other climbing in the area of BC. Then when LO said OK to climb, rain and snow began - went onto mountain. 3 times at end of Sept to 6300m and down to BC: in early Oct to 6400m and down to BC in very deep snow. On 13 Oct to NE Col (5600m+), 14th to 6300m, 15th to 6700m (deep snow), 16th Oct to 7200m, 17th Oct rested at 7200m, 18th Oct to 7500m. Now very cold (Ang Tshering's toes very cold) and down to BC at 8:00 pm that night and climb finished with snow very deep. 19th to Marpha and 20th to Jomsom for doctor to care for Ang Tshering's toes. They returned to Marpha to get porters to go to BC and bring out all gear left there with cook and kitchen boy. Only one porter went to BC and his toes badly frostbitten. Did not go to Annapurna - all gear stuck in Dhaulagiri BC and Ang Tshering's feet frostbitten.
