Route Notes BC at normal site C1 above North Col (normal C2 site) C2 on NE Ridge (normal C3) C3 on NE Ridge (normal C4) C4 on NE Ridge (normal C5). 1st attempt for summit 22 April by 4 climbing members and reached 7700m but too much new snow. Snowfall everyday in April; much cloud and windy: "weather no good" in April. Down to BC. 28th April helicopter took Park & Kim from Dhaulagiri BC to Annapurna BC because might have to wait long time for summit Dhaulagiri, so 2 members would join Sherpas already on route while Um and Hong left BC for C1; 30th C1 to C4. 30th April Um and Ngati reached and made C4 while Hong not in good condition & turned back at 6500m to BC. Um and Ngati left C4 3 am, on summit at 1:00 pm in very good weather, but some clouds and strong wind occasionally; down to C1 at 9:30 pm to sleep. 2nd May to BC and packing gear. Called for helicopter to take to Annapurna but not coming until 5 May and came from Annapurna BC first with Park on board and said Annapurna climb finished and BC packed up. Ngati (28, from Khumjung) did Everest traverse with Heo.
