Route Notes BC at normal site C2 at NE Ridge High point at C2. Too much snow even getting to BC. Took 5 days to reach BC from Tukuche Village which normally takes 2-3 days; waist-deep snow in Dhampus & French Passes. 6th & 7th Dec made route through icefall (big avalanche had came down (in big snowstorm of 9-10 Nov?) & filled crevasses. 9th Dec BC to NE Col. 10th to 7200m in push to summit - much snow already there & new snow which came in such larger amount it broke tents and windy; back to BC 12th 4:00 pm to wait for good weather. Wind broke dining tent at BC 15th. Park on 15th to Marpha at end of climb while Han left on 17th. Too much wind, cloudy weather with fresh snowfall put end to climbing hopes. Park's wife & son waiting KTM so he left quickly. He had planned to make C2 & climb alpine-style from there to top & back in one day.
