Route Notes BC at normal site Deposit (slept in occasionally) C1 at NE Col just above Col really C2 at NE Spur C3 on NE Ridge C4 on NE Ridge High point at NE Ridge. Delayed getting to BC because of porter's demands for high wages: Rs 600 load for last day via Myagdi Khola. Winds and exhaustion then defeated them: waited several days in C4 and there abandoned attempt. Down in BC on 21st. Regularly skied to C2, faster than walking, but above that mountain not skiable. One of 2 tents at C4 blown away on 18th.
Accidents 5 cases of minor frostbite only; 1 member cerebral edema
