Route Notes BC 100m apart from other French Dhaulagiri team on glacier C2 at North Col C3 in NE Ridge crevasse C4 on NE Ridge rocks High point at 30m below top. Didn't reach exactly on summit but stopped 30m below it: stopped to make photos for sponsor which took 1 hr, so decided not to go to top because wind rising and wanted to be back in camp before dark. Slept in C4 for 3rd night; now all down: before all 6 members reached 7100m and 2 Sherpas with Le Balch and Imbert to C4. 4 went down at 7100m because too tired to go on up. 1 Sherpa started for top on 6th but did not reach members high-point because too cold. Now climb finished. Le Balch has slight frostbitten toes and reached C2 only on 11th; boots too tight. Big problem for him to walk and came to KTM before rest of team, who went trekking.
