Route Notes BC at normal site C1 at Col C2 at NE Ridge. 31st Aug accident in icefall: Canameras fell into crevasse when unclipping from one fixed rope to clip another one; fell 8m and both arms and one shoulder injured so he and Soler left BC 6th Sept with porters carrying him. Only 1 summit attempt by remaining 3 members: Corominas, who left C3 2 am (Gonzalez left C3 at 8 am but turned back at 7800m because strong wind) could reach summit but needed a bivouac: delayed departure at 2 am because wind and very cold and expects French climbers to go up after couple of hours and French changed his mind). Corominas reached summit at 2:45 pm, so slow because of winds and snow 25 cm deep so trail-making slow; returned C3 at 6 pm. Were only 2 climbers after C1 because of Pruna's edema.
