Route Notes C2 at NE Col C3 on NE Ridge. From C4 summit party on 6th Oct moved directly to top, not indirectly via ridge to its top as many teams do. 2nd summit party on 8th Oct (Mon and Visentin) and reached top of ridge at 8100m and turned back by wind. Novak and others in C4 on 9th Oct, but not to top because of wind (Japanese got frostbite that day, 9 Oct). On 12th Oct new deep snow and avalanching that day. East Face not attempted: dangerous avalanching after new snowfall.
