Route Notes BC at normal site (1st to arrive this season) C2 near NE Col C3 on NE Ridge C4 above NE Spur High point at C4. Moved C1 because original site too low. C4 reached on 29th and 30th by 2 members but team very tired because no Sherpas helping them and they were first climbers making route to Col; again to spur with other Spaniards. Japanese, Swiss did some lead climbing, but Swiss also were bankers and sold route to Italian-Czech and Greek teams. "This mountain is for climbing, not for making money - this is not mountaineering." 13th Sept 3 members carried 100m down avalanche but injured (were hit at 6400m).
