Route Notes Summit team departed C3 on 18 May at 9 pm, summited on 19 May at 11 am, stayed 45 minutes, then returned to C3 at 4 pm. They were the first ones to summit on that day followed by 13 other climbers. Five members got altitude sickness at C1 (5300m) and they did not attempt to climb. Fixed Rope: 1600m between C1 and C2. Oxygen: Kim used from C3 to summit and to C3; Sherpas did not use. One Indian climber went up to 7700m, retreated exhausted to 7600m then collapsed. He belonged to Seven Summit Treks.
