| Route Notes | Pema Tshering Sherpa reached 7300m and Lakpa Sherpa and Burke reached 6800m on 17 May. Matt Du Puy reached 5800m on 15 May, but then descended due heat and exhaustion. Team then retreated as everyone felt very tired after the Annapurna 1 expedition. Trip to C1 was very hot and trip to C2 was extremely cold. Good snow conditions on the mountain. Fixed rope: None Oxygen: Used from 6700m to about 6800m by Burke, just to see if it would speed her up. |
