Route Notes BC 10 Apr 4800m C1 13 Apr 5800m C2 14 Apr 6500m C3 16 May 7300m HPt 17 May 7500m by Confortola, Pasang Lama Bhote. High point team left C3 at 1 am. They were going to leave earlier, but it was too windy. When they arrived at the bottom of the traverse at 4:30 am the wind started again and they waited for one hour for the wind to abate. Confortola, who had lost some of his toes on K2, had very cold feet and decided to descend. They cleared the camps and arrived at BC at 3 pm. On 20 May they walked to Jomsom in 12 hours and flew to Kathmandu on 21 May. Oxygen: not taken, not used.
