Route Notes BC 10 May 4800m C1 14 May 5600m C2 15 May 6600m C3 16 May 7200m C4 24 May 7700m Smt 25 May by Cadiach at 4:30 pm. First summit attempt was on 17 May. Cadiach reached about 7700m together with Kami Sherpa, however they turned back as they were too tired and it was very cold. They had left from C3 at 7200m and it had been a long way. Kami suffered frostbite on two fingers on right hand. They both descended to BC the same day. Kami took a helicopter to go back to Kathmandu three days later. On second summit attempt Cadiach and Miguel Angel Perez (from Chomolungma Pilgrimage) did not stay at C2, but went from C1 to C3 directly, which was very exhausting. On summit day, they left C4 at 6 am. Conditions were good; weather was windy and clear. Up to the traverse the snow was knee-deep. Last section technically difficult and very exposed. They took 10 hours to get to summit, where they spent about 10 minutes. They descended to C5, where they arrived at 5 pm. They found Cleo and her Sherpa, who were on their way to the summit, in their tent. Cadiach and Perez could not sleep or eat and were very exhausted. On 26 May Perez and Cadiach were attempting to reach BC, but could not make it one day due to fatigue. At 10 pm they set up a bivouac at 5500m, where they spent the night. They slept until 4 am descended to BC, where they were picked up by helicopter at 7 am. Oxygen: not taken, not used. Sherpa: Kami Sherpa, Sedua, Makalu-5, 29/9/66, Everest X2, Cho Oyu X1, Makalu X1, Manaslu X1
