Route Notes So and Nurbu left C3 for the summit at 4 am in good weather. When they got to 7500m snowfall started and also started picking up strong wind. Deep snow conditions even made it difficult to move them further up. It was already 5 pm and getting late, then So and Norbu turned around to C3 where they reached around 10 pm. Next day both went down to C1 and slept there. On 17 May both descended to BC. Kim Jin-Il, Kim Jung-Bae, Lee and Phu Dorchi reached C3 on 6 May. The members were exhausted and did not go beyond C3.
