Route Notes High Point: C2 by all members. When team climbed to C2, they left C1 at about 6 am and the conditions on the mountain were good. When they got to C2 about 5 hours later, they set up camp and stayed the night. The next day, they dismantled most tents and put them with their deposit into a couple of tents to protect them from the wind. They descended again to base camp. On 20th May, the whole team ascended again to C1 for the summit push. Weather was clear. On 21st May, they wanted to ascend to C2, however, it was very windy and the conditions on the mountain precarious (avalanche danger). At 6250m the team turned back and descended to base camp. Dendi, Tshering Bhote, Lila Sherpa and Phurba Sherpa carried on to C2; however, the tents had disappearred under the snow. They were looking for a while but could not find them. The members had some material, such as down suits inside the tents.
