Route Notes High Point: 6650m on 29th April. Team set up C2 on 28th April but did not stay the night there. It took them five hours to get from C1 to C2. They pitched their tent in high winds and descended to C1, where they spent the night. On 29th April, they ascended again to C2 to spend the night. The weather was good and warm in the morning, but winds picked up in the afternoon. The snow conditions on the mountain were good. On 30th April they descended to base camp, where they stayed until 6th May, when they spend another night at C1. They returned to BC on 1st May. On 10th May, they went back to C1, and on 11th May to C2, where they stayed another night. It snowed so hard during the night that they had to dig out their tent as it was almost completely covered in snow. They stayed up the whole night to shuffle snow. On 12th May they dismantled C2 and C1 and descended to base camp. They left base camp on 14th May. They had intended to use their skis on the mountain, however, due to the bad conditions and the high winds, they never got to use them.
