Route Notes First attempt on 7 June Kim, Go, Sona and Tshering Dorje started from C3 at 12:30 pm. Weather was windy and lots of snow. Climbing progress was very slow due to knee-deep snow. When the team reached around 8000m it was about 6 pm. It was getting late and strong wind started. The team decided to return to C3 where they reached at 12:20 pm of 8 June. The second attempt on 8 June, Kim, Go and Tshering Dorje started from C3 at 11:30 pm. Weather condition was much of the same some time white-out. The team reached summit at 4 pm of 9 June. They stayed on summit for 20 minutes, windy and white-out and some time clear. The team descended to C3 at 1 am on 10 June. Next day to BC. The team returned to Kathmandu on 12 June by helicopter and will leave Kathmandu on 18 June for Pakistan to climb Nanga Parbat. Initially, the expedition planned to take three Sherpas. Later three more Sherpas were added totaling of 6 Sherpas. Karma Geljen and Lhakpa Wongchu Sherpa climbed up to C2. Lhakpa Wangdi and Rinji Sherpa climbed up to C3. Lhakpa Wangdi got frostbite at C3. Rinji got sick, headache and stomach problem at C3.
