Route Notes On 30 April, Kim Hong-Bin, Mingma Tenzi and Rinji Sherpa together with other Korean expedition members Go, Hyun, Kim Mi-Gon, Dawa Finchok and Pasang Ngima Sherpa left C3 at 10 pm. The weather was windy and cloudy. The Korean team was the first one to start from C3 and they were also fixing ropes to the summit. The team ran out of ropes at about 7900m. Same time other 3 climbers and a Sherpa reached there and they continued to climb. Weather became very bad, snow fall and complete white-out. Kim Hong-Bin, Mingma Tenzi and Rinji Sherpa together with two other Korean members and their two Sherpas reached to the top at 6:30 pm on 1 May. They stayed on summit for about 10 minutes. The summit was cloudy and dark. It was a long climb. Kim Hong-Bin, Mingma Tenzi and Rinji Sherpa reached C3 around 3:30 am on 2 May. The other Korean expedition's tent was completely damaged and they had to share the tent of Kim Hong-Bin. Next day Kim Hong-Bin descended to C2 then to BC. Kim Hong-Bin returned to Kathmandu on 6 May and will leave on 10 May.
