| Route Notes | Kim and Seo left C3 on 18 May at 4:45 am. Both reached summit at 3 pm. They stayed on summit for one hour and thirty minutes. Descended to C3 at 7:30 pm. Next day to BC. On summit day morning was windy; around 9 am wind stopped. Kim and Seo did not go to the summit through the same couloir which was used by Japanese and German climbers but they went far end of the top ridge and turned left toward the summit. The place was gentle slope. While descending from the summit Kim and Seo used the couloir. Hong and Nam remained in BC. The expedition returned to Kathmandu on 22 May and will leave on 27 May. |
