| Route Notes | C2 at NE Ridge High point at NE Ridge. 5 Oct Fronia, Szepieniec, Wielicki and Lhakpa Tshering occupied C2 for 2nd time. 6th Fronia, Szepieniec and Wielicki down to BC because every day snow and plans to go to top from C2 meant to climb in the night and the night was foggy. Wielicki thought no chance of success, but Szepieniec decided to stay and left C2 5:00 am for top; at 9:00 am at 7100m gave up attempt for summit and back to BC with all gear at 8:00 pm. Deep snow on ridge was constant problem. Gasser to C2 on 29 Sept, but bad cough kept him in BC after that. Kobylecki never went above BC; his head hurt and no motivation; left 1 Oct.
