Route Notes	On 11 May Valloton and Nima Tshering left C3 for summit; when they reached at 7945m Nima started vomiting. Then Valloton decided to turn around and descended to C3. Valloton returned to Kathmandu on 18 May and left on 23 May. Email from Josette Valloton - Aug 23, 2008 Nima Tshering Sherpa, 22/4/72, Phortse, Everest X2 This Sherpa summited two times Everest and was a kind of friend. But this time without supplementary oxygen he could only manage it well until 7000m and during the sleep in C2 (6800m) I could already observed that he was not supporting so well altitude. Maybe it was the first time for him that he was not stronger than other. During the way to camp 3 we had to deal with an amount of fresh snow (2 Polish and me); Sherpas were behind. We slept a little bit below the normal camp 3. The day after we made it to camp 3. Nima and me started around 5 am for the summit and climbed until around 10. The Sherpa had vomited all the night but started in the morning for finally finish to deliver all that could still stay in his stomach. He wanted to wait for me in the snow at that point. We were close to the summit. I decided to go down together.
