Route Notes Dhaulagiri 2008 - Spring Ryszard Pawlowski Pawlowski and Snopczynski trekked to BC and arrived on 16 April. Hajzer and Szymczak left upper C3 at 2:30 am on 11 May, reached summit at 2:30 pm, stayed there for 20 minutes and descended to upper C3 at 9 pm. Next day descended to BC. Weather in the morning was clear but after 12 noon started snowfall, windy and cloudy. Most of the days weather condition was not good during expedition period. Hajzer returned to Kathmandu from BC by helicopter on 14 May and will leave on 16 May. Szymczak left BC on 15 May and returned Kathmandu on 21 May and to leave on 25 May. But he left to Annapurna on 22 May to join the rescue team for Ochoa. Szymczak returned to Kathmandu from Annapurna on 26 and will leave on 28 May. Pawlowski and Snopczynski put fix ropes till 7000m on 21 April and descended to BC. They returned to Kathmandu on 10 May and will leave on 11 May. Pawlowski has to go to South America leading a group. Hajzer and Szymczak reached BC by helicopter from Jomsom on 15 April. Kaszycki, returned from Yak Kharka, reached Kathmandu probably on 21 April and left on 24 April. He did not feel well and also lack of time.
