Route Notes On 19 Sept Van Hoek left C2 at 8 am on 19 Sept. He went on his own as rest of team decided that they should go down as it was acclimatization trip. He stopped at 6950m where Japanese fixed line stopped. He descended to C2, where Klerkx, Neuschmid and Nousig were waiting. They descended to BC together. The weather was good on 19 Sept. On 20 Sept it started snowing and did not stop for 6 days. On 29 Sept Van Hoek, Klerkx, Neuschmid and Nousig ascended to C1 and stayed for 3 nights. During that period the weather was unstable and attempts to reach C2 failed due to avalanche danger and bad weather. On 1 Oct they descended to BC. They dismantled camp and took their gear down. They never tried another summit push due to the bad weather. Scheiber got to BC on 10 Sept. He had a flu and descended to Marpha on 11 Sept. He never went back to BC but returned to Kathmandu. Wieser did not feel well and turned back on way to BC on 10 Sept. He wanted to go to Marpha and get rid of his cold but never returned to BC.
