Route Notes Kim, Sanu and Mingma left C3 at 8 pm, reached 8020m at 12 noon of 15 Oct. It was windy, very strong wind. When they left at the beginning it was clear. Later during ascent it became cloudy and windy. They turned around to C3 at about 6:30 pm. Next day descended to C1. Descending was very difficult due to strong wind coming up from down below. There was waist-deep snow and strong wind while descending from C1 to BC and it took them about the same as of climbing from BC to C1. When the team left BC there were members of an international team at C2. Kim said that Dhaulagiri is dangerous. The team tried to climb along the ridge instead of traversing the snow line, below the ridge. Kim said that he can see the summit from the point they turned around. The team returned to Kathmandu on 18 Oct and will leave on 25 Oct. Miss Kim Kyoung-Ja left BC on 5 Oct, arrived Kathmandu on 7 Oct and left on 11 Oct due to her work back home. Kim may come in Spring for Makalu or Cho Oyu. Sherpas: Sanu Sherpa, 30/4/75, Walung, Yaphu-9, Cho Oyu 2006, Everest 16/5/2007 with Kim Mingma Tenzi, 25/10/84 (22/7/2041), Yaphu-9, Lhotse 4/5/07 and Everest 16/5/07
