Route Notes BC at usual BC site C1 at usual campsite C2 at usual campsite C3 at usual campsite C4 at usual campsite. On 18th May Etemadfar and Jaber-Ansari left C4 at 02:00 hours, reached at 8000m at 10:00 hours. Very difficult to continue due to deep snow conditions and also started up wind. Rested for about 15 minutes, turned around to C4 at 14:45 hours. Next day to C2. Following day to ABC. Porters arrived at BC after three hours then all members left BC. Foroutanian (base camp manager) stayed at BC all the time. Two Italians summited Dhaulagiri on May 17. The expedition team returned to Kathmandu on May 25 will leave on May 30 or June 1. Next year may come for Cho Oyu.
