Route Notes BC at usual campsite Highpoint at C2. Cartagena Caceres had severe tootache and left BC on 28th with Valle which took them four days to reach Marpha. Where as in 1998 Cartagena Caceres did the same distance in seven and half hours. Trail condition was very bad with deep snow and storm. Cattan and Garcia left BC for Marpha on 9th. C1 was first occupied on April 14 by Cartagena Caceres and Valle. C2 was first occupied on April 24 by Ance Parra, Cartegena Caceres, Luchsinger and Valle. C2 was the highest point the members could reach. The expedition was the first one to reach the BC. The tents (two tents) with supplies, ropes, equipments were taken under avalanche on May 1st or 2nd. On May 5th the storm was very strong (130 km/hr). It damaged two tents at BC. The tents in BC were all under snow. The expedition returned together on May 16 and will leave on 19th. Sherpas: Dorjee Sherpa (31), Pare VDC-5, Thami, summited Everest with Appa in 2000 Gyalu Sherpa Both the Sherpas reached close to C2
