Route Notes May 20: Flock, Jonsson, Strang, Lhakpa and Kame left C3 at 04:00 hours; summit by Strang and Kame at 15:10 hours stayed about 10 minutes. Summiters helped in rescue work of one member of Amical. Took about 4 hours to bring him down to C3 from about 7800m. Flock and Jonsson were slow and had to return from 7700m to C3 around 17:00/18:00 hours. They left for KTM on 23rd. Ahlin went up to 6000m. He suffered from pneumonia on April 21st. Also seen blood in his cough. Remained in BC throughout the expedition. Bornefalk suffered from dehydration of kidney-like sugar problem at C2 on April 26 went down to BC. Rested for two days and walked out on 29th April for KTM. The summiter went to KTM on 23rd. Rest returned on 28th and will leave on June 3. The expedition lost a tent containing lots of equipments that was blown away by storm.
