Route Notes On 11 Oct Camandona, Cazzanelli and Emrik Favre reached 6600m (acclimatization). On 13 Oct Marguerettaz and Adriano Favre reached C2 with fixed rope. On 15 Oct Camandona, Cazzanelli, Emrik Favre left C2 at 3 am [to prepare the route] and arrived at lower summit (Churen West) at 3:00 pm (after 12 hours), spent 10 minutes up there and then began descent. They arrived back at C2 at 6:30 pm and slept at C2. On 16 Oct they left C2 at 6:00 am and arrived back at C1 at 7:30. Everyone came back from C1 together. On Oct 20 Camandona, Adriano Favre, Marguerettaz and Sete Tamang started up for the summit push [to Churen Central] from C2 at 3:00 am. Marguerettaz turned back soon (tired) and fell 50m into a crevasse on his way back to C2 and broke his leg. The others heard his screams and came back and rescued him.
