Route Notes Mountain: Chhuama Peak III Measured altitude by team on the summit: 6211m ? peak located NWN of Lo Manthang on Tibetan border. Coordinates: N29.29464° E 083.849962 Approach: Jeep to Lo Manthang, then two-day walk to BC via Namdo village. BC 22/10 4800m HC 26/10 5485m Smt 02/11 by all members and two Sherpas at 12:15 pm. Established high camp on rotation on 25/10, same day down to BC. Next day up again to spend night at HC. Snowstorm on 27/10, team waited out storm in BC. On 01/11 to HC. Set off for summit at 2 am on 02/11. Everyone on the summit between 12:15 pm and 1 pm. Fair weather on summit day, a bit windy. Everyone back at HC at 5:30 pm. Next day to BC and left BC next day with walk to Namdo and jeep to Lo Manthang. Sherpas fixed approx. 400m of rope on snow slope on 27/10, but didn’t summit that day.
