Route Notes 4 now in KTM. Leave 25 or 26 Aug. Dr Abe arrives 5 Sept and follows quickly. Nagaoka - 6 Aug 75 West Peak via West Ridge, same as spring 1975 (who originally planned Dhaulagiri IV). BC in Kaphe Khola about 4100m and route straight north to ridge. 5 high camps, C5 about 7000m. 2 members arrive KTM 5 Aug. 3 others arrive 20 Aug. Leave for Pokhara 25 Aug by road. Leave Pokhara 1 Sept, arrive BC 15 Sept. Summit end Oct. 4 Sherpas and 3 local porters above BC. Very small, very young expedition.
