| Route Notes | 23rd Delgado left C2 1:30 am NST with Ochoa and climbed straight line. Ochoa abandoned attempt at 7600m where he saw body and so upset him he turned back and down to ABC. Delgado continued to top at 9:55 am and to the C2 at 1:30 pm - to ABC 24th. Both left 29th for C1 and 1st to C2 and 2nd made C3 for ascent via normal curved route. 3rd left C3 at 3:00 am and on top 11:45 am together and down to C2 at 4:00 pm and ABC on 4th. 9th ABC to BC to Tingri. Worked together with Colombians but summit on different days - "smooth expedition." Orsorio went only to BC, then trekked around area - had slight altitude problem but also psychological problems (going through a divorce). |
