| Route Notes | BC at Chola, Nangpa Glacier moraine Biv Nangpa La Biv Gyabrug Glacier, east of point 6600m on Schneider map Biv slightly above C1's normal site. Rocha went to 5900m and stayed there photographing climb by Martinez brothers. Tony stopped at 7600m (toes cold and stomach problem) while Jesus alone to top at 2:00 pm. Clouds high but saw South Col. 2 brothers slept 6th Nov at 7600m and 7th Nov to 5900m. 3 men to BC 8 Nov. Did not see any Tibetan-Chinese police/army personnel who left avalanche in October, Spanish believe. This team had Nepal's permit for SW Ridge but made no attempt on ridge. Nepalese liaison officer stayed. |
