Route Notes Arrived Kathmandu for climb 18 Sept and left for Tibet 20 Sept. Helped rescue others Italian's Claudio on 4th Oct. Summit party went to C2 on 10th for summit but down to BC because of wind on 13th. 14th afternoon to C1 again, 15th 0:50 hours 6 people from C1 for top, spent 15 mins in Escoffier's C2 (had removed our C2 on 12th); 2 stayed at C2, 1 went down at 7200m (very cold hands). Zuberer down at 8100m (lost her goggles): Paglino and Mondinelli to top - no wind but no sun so cold (-25 degree at top, C2's -14 degree at 3:00 am). 15th 2 French to 7600m and down with Paglino, Mondinelli and Zuberer. Zuberer had fallen behind other two and wandered a bit off the route, but in their descent, Paglino and Mondinelli found her and escorted her down.
Accidents Zuberer slight frostbite; Andorno stomach trouble & left expedition
