| Route Notes | High point at C3. Tic went up for summit bid but no higher than C3 because couldn't get enough liquid to drink during night of 27/28 Sept. When he went alone to C3 (+ to C2 day before), so feared bad effects of high alittude without enough liquids and descended. Tic again up on 9th Oct with Escoffier. Tic did not go above C2 and retreated because of wind on 12th Oct and slept in ABC that night. Third summit bid up to 6800m on 14th Oct, but back because his face and fingers becoming frostnipped. |
