| Route Notes | C1 at Tichy camp. The schedule was rearranged and left ABC on 17 May. Dolenga and others reached Base Camp on 15 May and did not have time to climb again. Summit: Cloudy day - saw cross put by the Austrians, saw an oxygen bottle on the plateau. Ang Tenzing reached a height of 7400m (C3) Took around 1 hour to reach summit from the hump. Dolenga did not go to the edge by 2 or 3 meters because it was too windy. C3 was 15 minutes below the yellow band. On 14th May, Dolenga, Meissnitzer and Popp left C3 for summit but only Dolenga reached top; Meissnitzer turned back at 7500m with mild frostbitten fingers, Popp at 7600m because his toes had lost feeling and he feared frostbite, Fichtner at 7800m with mildly frostbitten fingers. |
| Accidents | Franz finger badly frostbitten, left ABC on May 5; Fichtner and Meissnitzer mild frostbite |
