Route Notes Could have established C3 and summited on April 25/26, but clients needed more time to acclimatize. Only one client (but 3 guides) reached summit. First attempt on summit was May 10 but there were high winds; reached 25,500 ft by Terry, Dawa Nuru, Richard and Fred (Sherpa without oxygen). Next summit attempt by Kai, Shaun and Charles but couldn't make it on May 13. Kei Braun summited alone (only person to top on 13th). May 15 attempt by the 4 summiters. Between C2 and C3 and C1 and C2 climbers from many expeditions. Took 15 May party 45 minutes-1 hour from plateau to summit on 13th and 15th. All saw the cross stayed at the top for 1/2 hour-45 minutes. 10-15 minutes from the top was a silver sign post put by the Basques this year. Dixon and Smith were independent party above ABC with our food, tents, etc.
