Route Notes Squinobol, Comune and Tenzing Sherpa left C2 at 00:30 midnight of 24/25, but after 3-1/2 hrs turned back to C2 because snow deep (1m) and strong wind and climb finished. Only 1 Sherpa helping with climb so very hard. Would have needed 15 hrs to reach top and no others were on mountain so high. Next 2 days bad weather (still snowing) and both doctors busy looking after sick woman from Swiss team (with French). Decided on 26th to stop climb because of continued bad weather and avalanche danger.
