Route Notes Before arriving at BC spent about 10 days climbing "small hills" in Tibet for acclimatization. 23 Sept Abe alone attacked summit from C2 starting 1:40 am and near top at 2 pm (may be not highest summit - was in clouds) and coming down because snowblind (had put on goggles only at 9 am) and lost track so bived at 7900m at 5 pm. 24th Sept 2 Polish climbers came up and Abe descended in their tracks to west of his own and returned to his own C2 at 11:40 am. Sakakibara arrived 4 pm and 24th both down with Sakakibara in support to ABC. 28 Sept other 2 members up to C1, 29th to C2, 30th 1 am left C2 and 3 pm Tawaraya arrived edge of summit plateau but no peak and turned back tired. Sakakibara went on 30 more minutes and also turned back tired. Neither reached any peak. Was clear weather.
