Route Notes BC at Kangchung's true site ABC northeast of Nangpa La C1 at normal site C2 at normal site C3 at normal site. Only Colet tried for summit from this team. Some teammates not yet well acclimatized, so plan was to try for top later, but then Basques (on other expeditions) got frostbite. These people helped them to get back to their BC and then this team did not return for another summit bid. Colet made C3 alone on 16th and set out for top on 17th with 2 Basques. Left C3 at 5 am and on top at 2:07 pm and returned to C3 5 pm and slept there. Fingers and toes (on right side only) became frostbitten during descent to C3 and during night without water. Now this team had to help a Basque badly frostbitten on 7th reach her BC. Then another Basque frostbite case and helped again. Left tents on mountain for Basques to use and hope they will bring them to Kathmandu (Lopez's team worked more in 2nd rescue and are still on mountain).
Accidents Colet some frostbite on all 5 right fingers & right toes but will heal
