Route Notes BC yak drivers camp. 16th May Burisch, Baumnn and Finkbeiner C4 with 2 Sherpas. 17th May all down (not feeling well) except Finkbeiner, who went to summit in good weather alone fighting with himself to push on and getting frostbitten toes and fingers; took 8 hrs from C4 to top and returned to empty C4 to sleep there. No more reached C4; went to C3 17th May but not above; they waited in C3 to help Finkbeiner descend. 22nd May 3 members to C3, but 23rd May big storm and down on 24th. Burisch and Baumann left BC 19th May because their climbing finished.
Accidents Finkbeiner will lose tips of 2 frostbitten fingers; nothing else
