Route Notes BC west of point 6296m C1 near "c" of Gyabrag Glacier on Schneider map. All members reached C3 and also LO. LO Kamal Bhandari, Manang instructor, tried for top on 4th and 5th reached 7300m, turned back tired and beginning to have edema (hands and face swollen); other 2 members not above C3 (tired). After Cho Oyu climb went to Thami where met trekking group and with them made a camp at Nangpa 16th Oct. 17th Oct climbed Cho Rausang (6600m) by West Face: not very difficult and from top have fine view of Tibet and Cho Oyu. Climbers were roped together but no fixed rope. Face entirely snow except for 30m of ice.
