Route Notes BC at Gyazumpa C1 same as Swiss C1 High point at 6600m on buttress. Crossed icefall to C2, which placed on farther West Buttress than planned because planned buttress too dangerous from stone fall and strong wind. From C2 to C3 was icefall; above C3 at 6600m found 8m wide crevasse. Tried to go round crevasse but falling stone from bare rocks; climb finished. On 9 May one stone hit left arm of Cho and thought it broken.
