Route Notes BC at west side of Lungsampa Glacier east of point 6500m C1 on rock, west side of Glacier. Had climbed by all technical problems but defeated by wind. Very steep ice which was brittle and broke much of route. Fixed 1000m rope on ice. Below C2 was difficult rock. Also danger from falling seracs and rock below C2. Freser frostbite which will heal; Tic bruised by falling stone.
