Bazin, Dawa Chhiri and Gelu Sherpa and started from C2 at 11 pm on 28/09. Not many people on the route on that day. Weather was calm and sunny. They spent about one hour on the summit and descended to ABC, where they arrived at 3 pm. Abdelhak Medallel and Luc Silvestre Villaume reached C1 on 18/09. They spent two nights at C1 for acclimatization. On their descent to ABC, Medallel started to feel bad and had a tight feeling in his chest. Bazin gave him oxygen from below the killer slope (6000m) for his descent to ABC. He spent another two nights at ABC, however, as he was not getting better, he was evacuated on 20/09. Villaume accompanied him and abandoned the expedition as well. When they reached Kathmandu, he was admitted to CIWEC for a couple of days and flew back to France, where the doctors found that he had a blood clot. Team left ABC on 04/10. Oxygen: Taken and used from Yellow Band (7700m) to about 7900 on the ascent by Bazin (no oxygen for the last 300m and descent) From 7700m to top to C3 by Da Chhiri. Sherpa: Da Chhiri, Khumjung, Khumbu, 21/06/1967
