Route Notes CBC 05/09 4800m IC 09/09 5400m ABC 10/09 5700m C1 16/09 6400m C1.5 18/09 6900m C2 26/09 7200m Smt 27/09 by Bachmair and Nima Tshering at 4:15 am, Ehrenworth and Pemba Nuru at 4:30 am; Morsky, Rinji and Tenjing Gyaljen at 5:30 am; Pancoe, Dawa Wangchu and Kalzang Dorje at 5:40 am; Campanaro, Da Jangbu and Chewang Dorje at 5:50 am; Staples, Dawa Geljen and Pasang Wangchu at 6 am. Summit team left C2 at 12:05 am. Perfect weather, light wind on the summit. Straightforward climb. They spent about 45 minutes on the summit. On their way down the passed the Alpenglow Rapid team coming up. Staples, Pancoe and Morsky descended to C1. All other members and Sherpas descended to ABC, where they arrived at about 7:30 pm. On 28/09 everyone down to ABC with Sherpas breaking down the camps. Keene reached C2 on 26/09 on summit rotation, but never made it further as he was physically not up for it. Laframboise and Irani reached C1 and left the expedition on 18/09. Laframboise suffered from a constant headache; Irani was not fit enough to climb the mountain. Roi Negri (Israel) and Ang Dorje (Nepal/USA) never made it to BC due to visa problems. Team left ABC on 01/10 Fixed rope: 800m and Nima Tshering and Rinji were part of the rope fixing team. Oxygen: Taken and used from C2 to top to C2 by members and Sherpas Keene started using O2 at C1 Campanero started using O2 at 1.5.
