Route Notes CBC 16/04 4800m ABC 19/04 5700m C1 23/04 6400m C2 03/05 7140m (Gruner, Lercher, Porwit, Dawa Jangbu Sherpa) Smt 13/05 by Berg, Troeger, Dawa Jangbu at 2:30 pm CST (12:15 pn NST) Summit team left C2 at 2:30 am (CST). Weather was clear and calm. They spent about 20 mintues on the summit and descended to C2, where they arrived at 7:30 pm (CST). At 2:30 am on 14/05, they descended to C1. Berg stayed at C1 and Troeger continued to ABC. On 14/05, everyone back at ABC. On their first rotation, the team stayed at C1 from 23 to 26/04 and fixed some rope towards C2 up to the icefall. On 26/04 they descended to BC. On 27/04 Gruner went to Tingri with Atanas Skatov as he was not feeling well. He stayed there for two nights and returned to ABC on 29/04. On 03/05 Gruner, Lercher, Porwit and Jangbu Sherpa ascended to C2, intending to go to the summit on 04/05. Berg ascended to C2 on 04/05 to talk them out of going for the summit as he did not think the weather was favourable. Everyone descended with Gruner and Lercher staying at C1, and Berg, Porwit and Jangbu descending to ABC. On 05/05 they were all back down at ABC. Gruner and Lercher left ABC on 11/05 as they had decided for themselves that their expedition was over. Hille reached 6850m on 25/04. During summit rotation, he reached C1 and decided to abandon the climb as he did not believe that weather window would come. Porwit reached C2 on 11/05 on the summit rotation. As they had to wait a second day due to the weather he decided to descend as he would not have been strong enough to go down to ABC in one day after the summit, which they were planning to do.
