On 13/05, they left C2 at midnight. Weather was clear and calm. Cook and Pemba were about half an hour ahead of Oostra and West. The yellow band was dry and crumbly. Lots of rockfall. At around 9 am at 8140m Oostra and West ran low on oxygen. Oostra was under the impression that they both had two oxygen cylinders in their pack, however, only he had a cylinder, which he gave to West and Oostra descended. West continued on her own and met Cook and Pemba on their descent. Pemba ascended again with West and Cook descended. Oostra descended to C1, where he arrived at 2 pm. Cook, West and Pemba descended to C2, where they arrived at 4 pm. Cairey reached 6600m on 28/04 during the first rotation. She also joined the summit rotation, however, she turned back after about one hour. She had no strength no motivation left and decided to turn back. On 24/04 Chhiring Thinduk got celebral edema at ABC and was evacuated immediately. He was taken to hospital in Kathmandu, where he stayed for one week.
