Route Notes BC 05/09 5000m ABC 08/09 5700m C1 13/09 6400m C1.5 15/09 6835m C2 17/09 7123m C3 29/09 7350m Smt 30/09 by Fallah, McGuire, Shvab, Spirig, Whitcraft, Ziegler, Brohn, Dawa Jangbu, Lhakpa Gelbu, Tenji Sherpa, Lhakpa Thindu, Ang Pasang at 10 am. Summit team, Buckwitz and Mazur left C3 at 1 am. They were behind the rope fixing Sherpas. They spent about 20 min on the summit and descended to C2, where they arrived between 6 pm and to 9 pm. Buckwitz was not feeling well at about 8150m and turned back; Mazur as the guide turned back with him. Shvab, Ziegler and Fallah descended to C1, where they arrived at 5 pm. Bremond reached C2; he did not feel good on the mountain and abandoned. Droemmer reached C2, but had back problems and abandoned the expedition. Mazur reached the plateau at about 8150m and turned back with Buckwitz, Spirig and McGuire. Nigh reached Camp 1.5 and had a problem with his IT band and abandoned the expedition. Pieper reached 7200m below C2, but felt nauseas and abandoned expedition. Hankins and Klein reached Camp 1.5. Hankins was Klein's personal guide, however, Klein turned out not to be strong enough to climb the mountain. They left ABC on 25 Sept. Oxygen: Taken and used from C3 to top to C3 by members and Sherpas Buckwitz, Spirig and McGuire did not use O2.
