Route Notes BC 24/04 4900m ABC 26/04 5400m C1 11/05 6400m C2 12/05 7200m C3 13/05 7500m Smt 14/05 at 10:30 (Nepali time) More, Mandale, Dawa Chhiri Sherpa, Kami Chhiri Lama, Lakpa Norbu Sherpa (1st summit) On 30 April the team reached deposit camp at 6000m. There was bad weather for a long time and they decided to attempt the summit without any rotation. Summit team left C3 at 9 pm on 13 May. Weather was fine and clear. Snow conditions good. At around 8 am wind started (about 15 kmh). Dawa Chhiri and Lakpa Norbu were fixing the rope on the way to the summit (around 800m). They spent about 20 minutes on the summit. They descended to C3, had a rest there and continued to C2, where they arrived at 6 pm. On 15 May everyone down at ABC. Zirpe reached deposit camp on 30 April at 6000m. He decided to stay at ABC to manage the expedition on Cho Oyu as well as Dhaulagiri I. Oxygen: Taken and used from C2 to top to C3 by Mandale. From 7900m to top to C3 by More. Sherpas from C3 to top to C3.
