It was clear, but very cold. During the ascent, Ismail Latiff had problems with his eyesight as he was suffering from windburn. Otherwise straightforward climb. Team spent about 30 minutes on top and descended to C2, where they arrived at 7 pm. Latiff rested and his eyesight became better the following day when they descended to ABC. Suemas Yeo reached C2 during the acclimating rotation. On the summit push, he abandoned the climb at about 6500m due to a medical condition, which was causing pain that was unbearable to continue climb. Zulkifli Latiff did not leave ABC (5700m) as he was trying to recover from mild AMS, but never did. Accidents: Windburn by Latiff. Hilwan, suffered a minor stroke at ABC (based on doctor's diagnosis after back in Singapore) which was thought to be mild cerebral edema during the acclimatization. He descended to Tingri for a few days before the summit push and managed to reach the summit with the team. He suffered headaches throughout the way back to Singapore. In Singapore he was admited to hospital and was diagnosed to have had a minor stroke. Oxygen: From C3 to summit to C3 by Latiff, Nur Yusrina Ya'akub and Sherpas From C3 to summit to ABC by Hilwan.
