| Route Notes | BC 24/09 4900m ABC 26/09 5700m C1 29/09 6400m C2 30/09 7100m Smt 01/10 by Pohl, Dawa Jangbu at 10:15 am CST (8:00 NST); Steinberg and Mingma at 11:30 am (CST). Summit team left C2 at 3 am (CST). Weather was calm and clear, but very cold. Straightforward climb. They spent about 30 minutes on the summit and descended to site of C3, where Steinberg and Pohl had left their skis. They descended on skis to C2, where Pohl arrived at 1:30 pm and Steinberg at 5 pm. The following day they continued on skis to C1 and continued on foot to ABC. Biagosch reached 6500m on 30 Sept. He had very cold feet and decided to abandon the climb. The team acclimatized very quickly as they came from Xixabangma, where they reached C1 at about 6200m before heading to Cho Oyu. Oxygen: Taken and used from C2 to summit to C3 by members and Sherpas.
